Relationship Agents
You built the relationship. We build the path to close.
KCI doesn't employ agents. We partner with independent intermediaries who've earned trusted positions in commodity supply chains. You keep your relationship. We provide the protection, structure, and documented attribution to move it toward an executed transaction.
See If We Are a FitThe Partnership
What you gain. What you keep.
This isn't a job listing. It's an independent partnership built on written agreements, commission-based compensation, and mutual accountability. You bring the relationship. KCI brings the infrastructure to protect it.
Protected Attribution
Your introduction is documented from day one. KCI's protection agreements ensure that the relationship you bring is formally attributed to you before any counterparty details are disclosed.
Commercial Structure
KCI handles qualification, documentation review, term alignment, and coordination between parties. You stay focused on the relationship while we build the commercial path around it.
Commission-Based Compensation
You earn a commission when a transaction closes. Compensation is tied to outcomes and documented in your written independent contractor agreement with KCI.
How It Works
How Relationships Become Partnerships
Apply
Submit an application describing your experience, your commodity focus, and the relationships you bring. This is a protected first conversation. No counterparty names or contacts are disclosed at this stage.
Qualify
KCI reviews your background and determines whether there's a fit. Not every application results in a partnership. We're selective because the people on both sides of a transaction deserve that.
Formalize
If there's alignment, we execute a written independent contractor agreement that documents your role, your attribution, your commission structure, and the boundaries of the partnership.
Introduce and Coordinate
Once protected, you introduce the opportunity. KCI handles qualification of the counterparty, structures the commercial pathway, and coordinates toward closing. Your attribution travels with the deal.
What this is not
KCI partners exclusively with independent contractors under written, commission based agreements. We don't hold transaction funds, and no introduction is a guarantee that a transaction will close.
Common Questions
What agents ask before applying
Every agent who partners with KCI receives access to a secure agent portal with a unique sign in ID. When you bring an opportunity to KCI, it's assigned a deal ID that's tied to you from the first conversation. That deal ID tracks your attribution through every stage of the process, from initial introduction through qualification, counterparty engagement, and closing. Your relationship stays documented and protected the entire way through.
No. The application itself is a protected first conversation. You describe your experience, your commodity focus, and the type of relationships you bring without disclosing counterparty names or contact details. Specific introductions happen only after a written agreement is in place and both sides are protected.
Agents earn a commission when a transaction closes. Your commission structure is documented in your written independent contractor agreement with KCI before any introductions are made. KCI doesn't guarantee that any introduction will result in a closed transaction.
No. KCI partners with independent contractors under written, commission based agreements. You operate independently, and KCI provides the commercial structure and coordination to move your relationships toward closed transactions.
KCI is built for intermediaries who have the relationships and the deal flow but keep hitting roadblocks when it comes to closing. You've spent months working an opportunity. You have access to buyers, sellers, or both. You've done the legwork. But you don't have the commercial infrastructure, the documentation framework, or the coordination to get the deal across the finish line.
Or you've been on the other side of it: you made the introduction, the counterparties went around you, the deal closed without you, and you had no protection and no recourse. If that's happened to you, you already understand why KCI exists.
The people we partner with best are the ones who are already doing the work. They have established relationships, active deal flow, and real opportunities on the table. What they need is the structure to close and the documentation to make sure their work is respected and compensated.
KCI isn't the right partnership for someone who's new to the commodity industry and looking for training. We don't teach the business. We provide closing infrastructure for people who are already in it.
It's also not the right fit for someone who wants to be associated with a brokerage but doesn't have established relationships or active deal flow. This business is built on relationships, and KCI partners with people who are bringing real ones to the table. Not every application moves forward, and that's by design.
KCI reviews your application and determines whether there's alignment. If there is, we move to a written independent contractor agreement that documents your role, your attribution, your commission structure, and the boundaries of the partnership. From there, introductions move forward with both sides protected. If there isn't alignment, we'll let you know. Not every application moves forward, and that's part of how the process stays credible for everyone involved.
